After the Abduction of a Minor from Baalbek... Security Forces Spring into Action

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, reported that "as part of the daily follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat crimes in various Lebanese regions, information was obtained by the Beirut Investigation Unit regarding the presence of the person named A.H. (born in 2008, Lebanese), who is accused of abducting the minor N.T. (born in 2009, Lebanese) from a village in Baalbek, and his presence in Beirut."

The directorate confirmed in a statement, "Immediately, the unit's elements began their investigations to locate the kidnapped girl and apprehend the abductor. As a result of inquiries and investigations, one of its patrols was able to arrest the aforementioned individual, along with the minor girl, in the area of Tarik Jdideh on 27/01/2024. It was found that he is wanted under two search and arrest warrants for the crime of kidnapping a minor. They were both transferred to the Tarik Jdideh police station for further investigation and necessary legal action, based on the judiciary's instructions."
