The Sudanese army has revealed that it has been conducting military operations in various regions of Sudan, leading to bloody clashes with the Rapid Support Forces. The armed forces carried out sweep operations against Rapid Support Forces pockets in the Al-Ramila and Abu Hamama areas surrounding the Shajara region, as well as the Al-Halfaya Bridge area and the Khartoum North and East Nile municipalities, according to a statement from the army. The statement noted: "The enemy has sustained heavy losses which included the destruction of dozens of military vehicles and the death of hundreds, along with the capture of several rebels and mercenaries who fled, leaving their dead behind." Kenyan President William Ruto stated today, Monday, that East African countries will hold direct meetings with leaders from both the army and the Rapid Support Forces within 10 days to discuss a ceasefire and humanitarian corridors. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs indicated that agencies have managed to deliver supplies to two million people. This included medical supplies delivered to 42,000 people living on Tuti Island in the Nile.
