Iran Showcases Longest-Range Drone in Iraq War Anniversary (Video)

Iranian state media reported that "the Islamic Republic showcased its military equipment today, Friday, in commemoration of the Iraq War in the 1980s, including the world's longest-range drone, ballistic missiles, and hypersonic missiles." The reports stated that "the drone was unveiled during a live-broadcast event, and the drones displayed during the ceremony were named Mohajer, Shahed, and Arash." Official media at the time noted that "the drone has a range of 2,000 kilometers and can fly for up to 24 hours, adding that its payload can reach 300 kilograms, which is twice the capacity that the Mohajer-6 drone can carry."

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, during the military parade held today in Tehran, indicated that "our forces ensure security in the region and the Gulf... We can teach the peoples of the region that steadfastness is the way forward today. What forces the enemy to retreat is not submission and hesitation, but resistance."
