Al-Absi Informs Al-Bukhari About the Five-Member Committee's Move

Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for the Greek Melkite Catholics, Joseph Al-Absi, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, at the patriarchal residence in Rabweh. They discussed national and regional issues. Al-Bukhari described the visit as a protocol meeting, aimed at offering congratulations for the holidays, albeit belatedly. He added, "I briefed His Beatitude on the atmosphere surrounding the Five-Member Committee's movement towards assisting in the election of a new president for the republic, and our future vision in this context." For his part, Al-Absi praised the bilateral relations between the two countries and peoples and the Kingdom's efforts on all fronts.
