The head of the political council of "Hezbollah," Ibrahim Amin al-Sayyid, indicated that "there are external attempts along with some internal efforts to reach the election of a president acceptable to everyone. We are monitoring what will result from the Qatari delegation's visit, while confirming that our position thus far supports the candidacy of Minister Sleiman Franjieh." He affirmed during a political dialogue meeting organized by the party's public relations in the town of Badnaiyl in Baalbek, that "Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has a serious approach to resolving the war in Yemen, as we have learned from various sources. There are humanitarian issues related to prisoners, salaries, lifting the siege, airports, and ports, in addition to political files that have not been disclosed. The recent talks of the Sana'a delegation in Riyadh differ from previous ones." He concluded by noting that "the normalization process has been ongoing among Arabs for a long time and is not new, due to ongoing American pressures. Saudi Arabia has been moving towards non-public normalization, and Israeli planes have been crossing Saudi airspace."
