The Algerian company stated in a statement published yesterday, Sunday, that the Chairman and CEO of "Sonatrach," Rachid Hachichi, received the General Manager of "Botas," Abdurrahman Yildırım, at the company’s headquarters in the presence of officials from both companies.

The statement added that "the two parties discussed long-term trade relations between 'Sonatrach' and 'Botas,' which fall under contracts for the sale and purchase of liquefied natural gas." During the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen their commercial relationship and discussed the possibility of expanding their partnership and exploring new business opportunities. The statement noted that "Sonatrach" has been supplying "Botas" with liquefied natural gas since 1988, particularly through the Marmara station, which was built to receive Algerian natural gas.
