The Directorate General of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, reported today, Saturday: "On February 16, 2023, the body of citizen Mohammed Ahmad Ali (30 years old) was found on the pedestrian stairs of the Antelias Bridge, with a gunshot wound to the head. Through the ongoing investigations, the Judicial Branch of the New Beirut Division discovered that the perpetrator is named N. T. (born in 1989, Lebanese). She posted a video on social media claiming that she avenged the deaths of her two brothers and several relatives who were killed following a dispute that occurred earlier in Wadi Jamous - Akkar, and then she went into hiding. As a result of intensive investigations, the mentioned branch was able to locate and arrest her in a furnished room inside a hotel in the town of Bait Shabab. A military pistol with 39 usable rounds, a knife, among other items, was seized from the room. During the investigation, she confessed to planning her crime for three months and executed it after luring the victim, who was one of the participants in the earlier dispute, via the Messenger app, with the help of A. A. (born in 1982, Lebanese), who has a criminal record and is also on the run - he accompanied her to survey and monitor the crime scene and drove her there in his car. A search and apprehension notice was issued for (A. A.), and the latter, along with the seized items, has been handed over to the competent judiciary, based on its directive." After three months of planning, she killed him for revenge and then went into hiding.
