A citizen, A. T. (born in 1980, Lebanese), from the town of Aytat, was found murdered inside his car in Aley, having been shot twice in the head. After leaving his home in the morning and arriving at the town of Ain Anoub, an unknown assailant shot and killed him inside his vehicle. Internal security forces managed to identify the vehicle used in the murder, a Mercedes with a fake license plate, driven by A. Sh. A. (born in 1997, Syrian) residing in Tripoli. It became clear that he had no connection to the victim, raising suspicions among investigators that he was a hired killer.
The unit was able to track him down in the town of Bebnin, Akkar, where they raided his home and arrested him. He was found in possession of 14 gold lira, 1,360 US dollars, and 610,000 Syrian lira. The weapon and the vehicle used in the crime were seized. During the investigation, he admitted to the murder, stating that he carried it out at the request of N. B. F. (born in 1959, Lebanese), who works and resides in the United Arab Emirates. A cold-blooded hitman executed the crime in Ain Anoub, and the information unit identified him in less than 24 hours and arrested him in Akkar, seizing the murder weapon, the money, and the gold lira he had received for carrying out the crime. #ISF #SecurityIsTrust — Internal Security Forces (@LebISF) July 7, 2023
