Discovery of Explosive Devices in Anbar

The Iraqi National Security Agency announced today, Tuesday, the discovery of explosive devices and a large quantity of TNT in Anbar Province. According to a statement from the agency, "Based on accurate intelligence information, a force from the National Security Agency in northern Baghdad began a mission to follow up on an intelligence target in Anbar Province, during which it was able to find remnants of war belonging to ISIS terrorist groups." The statement added that "the force was able to find (9) explosive devices in the form of locally made metal containers in the Karma district, which were detonated on-site by the engineering department without any reported incidents." The agency also indicated that "a force in the town of Rawah in the same province was able to carry out a qualitative operation during which it seized a cache of weapons belonging to ISIS containing various arms." The agency noted that "the seized items were handed over according to an official seizure record to the relevant authorities for necessary actions."
