Brazilian President in Cairo: Israel's Behavior in Gaza "Has No Explanation"

Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva indicated today, Thursday, that "multilateral institutions are unable to resolve international conflicts" and criticized Israeli actions in Gaza. After a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in Cairo, he stated, "Israel's behavior in Gaza has no explanation; they are killing women and children under the pretext of fighting Hamas." He pointed out that "there will be no peace without the establishment of a Palestinian state" and called for an immediate ceasefire to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.
