The Counter Terrorism Service of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced today, Monday, that Erbil International Airport was targeted by drone strikes. The service stated in a communiqué: "A bomb-laden drone targeted a base for the international coalition inside Erbil International Airport at 16:03." The attack targeted the Harir base, which houses American forces in Erbil Province in the Kurdistan Region.
