A statement was issued today, Tuesday, by the Media Affairs Office of the General Directorate of General Security: "Effective from this date, 'comprehensive general power of attorney' will be accepted to complete transactions (without requiring a valid period), except for powers of attorney allowing the issuance of a passport for a minor, which require a specific power of attorney with a validity not exceeding one year."
