Sudanese Consulate in Aswan Warns Against Illegal Entry into Egypt

The General Consulate of the Republic of Sudan in Aswan has warned its citizens and nationals against entering Egypt through illegal means, as this exposes them to danger and legal issues. The Consul General, Ambassador Abdelqader Abdullah, cautioned about the risks of illegally infiltrating into Egypt and the potential consequences for individuals and families, including traffic accidents involving vehicles used for smuggling, as well as being subjected to robbery and extortion by human trafficking gangs, which puts their lives at risk and violates Egyptian law. In a statement issued by the Sudanese consulate, it was noted that "between October and December, there have been about five traffic accidents resulting in the deaths of many people, in addition to dozens of injuries, due to illegal crossings or illegal methods."
