Al-Nassr Approaches Sadio Mane Transfer

The Saudi club "Al-Nassr" is close to signing Senegalese international striker Sadio Mane from Bayern Munich to strengthen its squad for the new season. CBS correspondent James Benge reported via his Twitter account on Monday that "Al-Nassr is nearing a deal for Mane after submitting a request to the Saudi Ministry of Sports for funding the transfer." He added that the purchase value of Mane's contract will be €40 million, and the Senegalese star will receive an annual salary of €40 million.

The Senegalese striker has received permission from Bayern Munich's management to negotiate with interested Saudi clubs. This comes after the player was left out of the plans of Bayern's head coach Thomas Tuchel, who does not intend to rely on him for the upcoming season, according to recent reports from the German newspaper Bild.

It is worth noting that Mane joined Bayern last summer from Liverpool, where he played 38 matches for the German team, scoring 12 goals and providing 5 assists across all competitions.
