Elon Musk: Ukraine Unlikely to Reclaim Territories from Russia

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has expressed the opinion that Ukraine will not be able to reclaim territories from Russia, indicating that Russia will not withdraw its forces.

In an interview with "The Economist," Musk stated, "There is unfounded optimism that Russia will fully withdraw its troops and such, but that is unrealistic. I think we need to look at the situation realistically," as reported by Russian news agency TASS.

Musk elaborated, "I am very disturbed by these polished diplomats who enjoy seven-course dinners in fancy places while people are dying on the front lines, talking about how Russia should withdraw its forces, but it will not. Russia will not back down."

He noted that he has always advocated for peace, adding, "A few years ago, I published an article on the need to make concessions to Russia, not because I take a pro-Russian stance, but because I view things realistically. Otherwise, people will die for years achieving nothing, and that is indeed what has happened."

He concluded, "Ukraine will not reclaim these territories; it's not going to happen."
