How to Protect Yourself from the Danger of White Phosphorus After Bombardment

The Ministry of Public Health has renewed its warning and reminder to citizens, especially in southern areas that have been subjected to white phosphorus bombardment, to follow the following instructions in case of exposure to this chemical substance:

- Stay away from the vicinity of areas directly bombed with white phosphorus.

- Do not touch trees, crops, or other surfaces, especially in the vicinity of bombing-affected areas.

- Do not touch foreign objects that may be remnants of the bombardment.

- Follow the instructions of the Ministry of Public Health and the World Health Organization regarding the handling of white phosphorus.

- In cases of exposure to any shrapnel or injuries from white phosphorus, proceed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
