The Egyptian Football Association has decided to appoint Hossam Hassan as the head coach of the national football team for a two-year term, succeeding Portuguese coach Rui Vitoria. Ibrahim Hassan has also been appointed as the director of the Egyptian national team for the upcoming period. This decision comes after difficulties in negotiations with foreign coaches due to the dollar crisis.
