Dr. Sergey Vialov, a specialist in internal medicine and liver diseases, indicated that "a high fat content in the daily diet increases the risk of cancer." The specialist pointed out that "alcohol and fatty foods are the main reasons for the development of problems in the pancreas." He added that "85% of cases of pancreatitis occur for two reasons: excessive alcohol consumption and poor bile secretion and performance of bile ducts. An additional reason is the high fat content in the diet." Vialov emphasizes that "if a person feels pain in the pancreas, there are two attempts to stop the disease: changing their lifestyle and taking medications prescribed by a doctor, or undergoing surgery." The doctor further stated that "obesity and high fat content in the diet negatively affect health, increasing the risk of various types of cancer, including pancreatic cancer." It is noteworthy that "according to scientists' analysis of the dynamics of deaths from preventable cancer causes, it turned out that most deaths from malignant tumors associated with smoking, alcohol, obesity, and the human papillomavirus claimed the lives of 1.3 million people in 2020."
