Explosion in Residential Area of Armenian Capital

An explosion occurred in a residential area in the Norarich district of the Armenian capital, Yerevan, resulting in injuries and significant damage to nearby buildings, according to the "Novosti" agency. Preliminary data indicates that the explosion destroyed several buildings in the Norarich area, with suspicions that it originated from a bakery and was caused by a gas cylinder explosion. Rescue teams are conducting search and rescue operations and have managed to pull two people from under the rubble.
