A medical official in the Gaza Strip accused Israel on Tuesday of stealing vital organs from several corpses that the Ministry of Health in Gaza received. The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that "after examining the bodies delivered by the occupation, it was found that organs had been stolen from some of them."
"Wafa" noted that the Israeli army had held 110 corpses from the Shifa Medical Complex and from a cemetery in front of the emergency department, and delivered 100 of them on Tuesday. It also pointed out that the bodies of 100 citizens killed during the Israeli war on Gaza were buried in a mass grave in the city of Rafah, which the occupation had taken from various areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to "Wafa," the abduction of the bodies of martyrs from Gaza raises suspicions that the Israeli occupation is involved in stealing organs from the bodies of Palestinian martyrs. The official stated that the corpses, which had been held in Israel, were delivered via the Kerem Shalom crossing controlled by Israel, and they will be buried in mass graves in the city of Rafah. No comment has yet been issued by Israel regarding the delivery of the corpses.
