Israeli President Isaac Herzog warned Hezbollah today, Wednesday, against "making mistakes," affirming that his country's army is "strong and ready for any scenario." During a tour at the northern border, he stated: "Throughout northern Israel, our citizens are at their best, working, building, and rooting themselves in the land, developing and advancing, and dealing with all the problems facing the country." He added, "In contrast, I look across the border and see Lebanon collapsing."
Herzog also mentioned: "I believe we all extend our hands to Lebanon, telling the Lebanese citizens that you do not deserve this, and you do not deserve to be destroyed by Iran and Hezbollah and to be dismantled; we extend our hands for peace."
In related news, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, General Herzi Halevi, toured the northern border on Wednesday. He inspected the security barrier being constructed at the border, which has seen significant progress of several kilometers in recent months. The spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, detailed Halevi's tour on the platform X, noting the construction advancements of the security barrier.
