A spokesperson for the German shipping group "Hapag-Lloyd" indicated today, Wednesday, that they "continue to direct their ships to navigate around the Cape of Good Hope at this time, due to attacks by the Houthis on ships in the Red Sea." The spokesperson added that "the group also welcomes the planned participation of the German army in a European Union maritime mission to protect shipping in the Red Sea."
