Knicks Secure Victory Against Heat in Butler's Absence

The New York Knicks secured a last-minute victory over the Miami Heat, 111-105, before the Eastern Conference Finals in the NBA. The Heat faced a significant setback just before the game due to Jimmy Butler's absence after he sprained his ankle five minutes before the end of the first game. Meanwhile, the Knicks welcomed back Julius Randle, who missed the first game due to injury. Randle scored 10 points to help the Knicks end the first quarter leading 31-29, while the Heat tightly guarded Jalen Brunson.

In the last five minutes, the Knicks scored 18 points compared to just nine for their opponents. Brunson led the Knicks with 30 points, while Randle and Barrett added 25 and 24 points, respectively. Martin was the top scorer for the Heat with 22 points, followed by Vincent with 21 points.
