Mikati: Negotiations for Calm in Southern Lebanon Will Start During Ramadan

The caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati confirmed that "everyone is working to calm the front in southern Lebanon and move towards long-term stability, and the proposals of the American mediator Amos Hochstein are being discussed." He revealed that "the Ramadan understanding will be in Gaza, and the information indicates that a ceasefire there will occur before Ramadan." In an interview with Al-Jadeed, he pointed out that "the focus of the stability phase we aim to reach is a mechanism for implementing Resolution 1701."
