Multiple media reports stated today, Thursday, that Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion in Formula 1 racing, will make a surprising move from Mercedes to Ferrari in 2025, replacing Spanish driver Carlos Sainz. Sky Sports reported, "It is understood that Toto Wolff, the head of Mercedes, will brief the team about this before the official announcement later today." Hamilton, 39, has been competing with Mercedes since 2013, winning his first title in 2008 with McLaren. His current contract ends at the end of next year. Both Mercedes and Ferrari declined to comment on these speculations.
