Scientists in Singapore have achieved a significant medical breakthrough by discovering antibodies that could potentially lead to the complete eradication of the COVID viruses that have terrified humanity for many years. While a vaccine has been developed to help the human body resist these viruses, it does not eliminate them or prevent their transmission from person to person.
According to a report by "Al Arabiya Net," the scientists discovered antibodies that can neutralize nearly all known types of COVID viruses, offering hope for preventing future outbreaks of the coronavirus. The antibodies were initially isolated from the blood of a recovered SARS patient who had received a vaccine against COVID-19, the virus that spread worldwide in early 2020.
The Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore, which led the research, stated, "This unique combination of previous coronavirus infection and vaccination resulted in a highly robust and broad antibody response capable of neutralizing nearly all related coronaviruses tested."
