Geagea: The Syrian Issue Has Become an Existential Threat

The President of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Geagea, stated in a statement that "some have recently begun to speak about a new influx of Syrian refugees to Lebanon, in addition to the existing refugee situation, which poses an existential and existential threat to Lebanon and the Lebanese people. It is worth noting that the Free Patriotic Movement and its allies not only form a majority within the government but also the entire caretaker government. Why doesn't this government meet, especially since the Syrian issue in Lebanon has become an existential threat, and it should issue clear and specific executive orders to all relevant security agencies to implement the Lebanese laws in full under the threat of accountability?" He added: "The diligent and serious pursuit of this step by the relevant ministers, specifically the Ministers of Interior, Defense, and Justice, is the only way to keep this existential threat away from Lebanon, while statements and political exploitation only serve to deepen and spread the crisis further."
