Hezbollah Sends Threatening Messages to Northern Authorities

The website "News Israel" reported that northern authorities have received direct threatening messages from Hezbollah, noting that the matter has been referred to the northern command. The site shared some of the messages received by officials, including: the message addressed to the head of the Metula Council, David Azulay: "Stay away from Metula and don't hide like a rat; we will reach you wherever you are." The message directed to the mayor of Kiryat Shmona, Avihai Shtern: "Learn from what is happening in Sderot and ask your government to stop the aggression on Gaza." The message to the head of the Margaliot settlement council, Eitan Davidi: "You survived by a miracle. Next time, we won't miss the target." The site highlighted the seriousness of Hezbollah's possession of the phone numbers of Israeli officials and what that implies in terms of breaches.
