Actor Kevin Spacey described the allegations against him of grabbing a man by the genitals as "utter nonsense" during heated exchanges with prosecutors in his sexual assault trial. The 63-year-old Oscar winner pleaded not guilty in Southwark Crown Court, London, to 12 charges of sexual offenses against four men in the UK between 2001 and 2013. The alleged crimes occurred while Spacey was living and working primarily in Britain.
The four men stated that Spacey touched them inappropriately, with one claiming that Spacey performed oral sex on him while he was not fully aware in Spacey's apartment. Spacey was questioned by prosecutor Christine Agnew twice on Friday, who asked him about an allegation from one of the complainants that he grabbed him in a painful manner like a "cobra" in the mid-2000s. Spacey responded that the man "made up his story from beginning to end," and referred to the accusation as "utter nonsense." When asked why he believed the accuser was fabricating the allegations, Spacey replied: "Money, then money, then money."
