Arrival of a Chinese Ship Loaded with Huge Cranes at Tripoli Port

The Chinese ship Hue zing long, loaded with modern cranes for container handling, has arrived at Tripoli Port. The port director, Ahmed Tamer, indicated that "the arrival of the cranes at the container dock will double the speed of container handling at Tripoli Port, making operations at the port among the fastest in the world. Additionally, this will reduce the time ships spend within the port area by a third." Tamer added: "The Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, will inspect the port tomorrow and will look into the arrival of the cranes on-site, followed by a press conference discussing this matter and its importance for increasing port activity."
