Israeli Army Faces Toughest Day in Gaza: 11 Officers Killed and Over 100 Injured

Israeli media reported a difficult day for the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip and the northern front, where "11 Israeli soldiers and officers were killed, and more than 100 were injured in battles in Gaza over the past 24 hours." The Israeli army announced the loss of several soldiers who fell into an ambush by the Al-Qassam Brigades in central Gaza, stating, "So far, 11 officers have been announced dead, and there are missing persons with search operations still ongoing. The incident involved a truck carrying 29 officers and soldiers who had arrived to rescue an Israeli captive held by the Al-Qassam Brigades. Upon their arrival, the truck and the building were blown up with the soldiers, and Palestinian resistance took control of their equipment."
