Minister of Education Reminds About the Continued Closure of Schools in the Southern Border Area

The Minister of Education and Higher Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Halabi, reminded about the continued closure of official and private schools, secondary schools, and vocational institutions located in the southern border area. He tasked the directors of schools, secondary schools, and vocational institutions in the South and Nabatieh governorates to monitor the situation on the ground and decide on whether to open or close them based on the development of events and the surrounding conditions for each institution, in coordination and communication with the educational regions and relevant directorates in the ministry. He emphasized that "the safety of the students, parents, teachers, and administrative bodies in these institutions remains the priority."
