Title: Moscow Exchange Resumes Trading After Unexpected Halt

The Moscow Exchange resumed trading today, Tuesday, starting at 15:45 (Moscow time) after a technical malfunction that lasted about two hours. The Moscow Exchange stated in a press release today that "an error occurred in the main server of the Russian exchange, resulting in the temporary suspension of trading from 13:58 Moscow time."

In terms of trading, the ruble-denominated MOEX index rose by 0.15 percent to 3253.25 points, while the dollar-denominated RTS index increased by 0.33 percent to 1124.47 points. The exchange rate of the dollar decreased by 15 kopecks (1 ruble = 100 kopecks) to 91.16 rubles, while the euro's exchange rate dropped by 57 kopecks to 97.75 rubles. The exchange rate of the Chinese yuan also fell by 5 kopecks to 12.54 rubles, according to data from the Moscow Exchange.
