Arrest of a Murder Suspect in a Precise Ambush

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Department announced today, Saturday, that "as part of the daily follow-up conducted by the Internal Security Forces to pursue wanted individuals in various regions, the relevant units in the Information Branch were tasked with intensifying their informational and technical efforts to determine their locations in preparation for their arrest."

It added in a statement: "As a result of the investigations and inquiries conducted by the branch, they managed to identify the location of one of the wanted individuals, named N. T. (born in 1978, Lebanese), against whom there is a summary judgment for murder.

After careful surveillance, one of the branch's patrols was able to spot him riding a black motorcycle in the Burj Barajneh area, where they proceeded to arrest him and seize the motorcycle. Upon searching him, an amount of /1,225,000/ L.L. and /110/ US dollars were found.

During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him, in addition to having previously stolen a motorcycle from the Dahyeh area. Legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred with the seized items to the relevant authority based on the judiciary's instructions."
