After a visit by the Arab Islamic ministerial delegation to France, where they met with French President Emmanuel Macron and Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, a French presidential official responded to a question from "An-Nahar" during a conference call with the press regarding whether the Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire also includes a ceasefire on the Lebanese front. The official stated that he has no information on whether the ceasefire includes the Lebanese front, "as the ceasefire decided by Israel is based on the release of hostages, so it is unlikely that the ceasefire will expand to the northern border area with Lebanon." He added that "France, through the president and Foreign Minister, has warned 'Hezbollah' that it is playing a dangerous game, as it intensifies provocations against Israel. The consequences of this are unknown. Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna conveyed a direct and clear message to her Iranian counterpart in Geneva regarding the necessity of keeping Lebanon out of the conflict and for 'Hezbollah' to stop the provocations it is currently engaged in, as this is very important for southern Lebanon and for the entire region."
