Al-Qassam Brigades, affiliated with Hamas, published a message on its Telegram account indicating a threat to Israeli captives held in their custody. Al-Qassam stated, "Despite our commitment to preserving their lives (the Israeli captives)... Prime Minister (Benjamin) Netanyahu still insists on killing them." The statement was accompanied by the hashtag (#tonight), suggesting an imminent announcement regarding the Israeli captives.
Later, military media released a video featuring, in the first part, three young captives smiling as they introduced themselves, while in the second part it reported their deaths at the hands of the Israeli army. Hamas commented, "Despite our commitment to preserving their lives, Netanyahu continues to insist on killing them."
Al-Qassam published a video about the captives, stating: "Despite our commitment to preserving their lives, Netanyahu continues to insist on killing them. #Flood_of_Al_Aqsa," alongside a tweet that included a video.
It is noted that three Israeli detainees were killed in recent days by Israeli soldiers while they cried out for help in Hebrew and one waved a white flag, without shirts. Since the Israeli army announced the accidental killing of the captives on Friday in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City, pressures have been mounting from the families of the captives who are calling for negotiations with Hamas to resume.
