Foiling an Attempt to Smuggle One of the Most Valuable Archaeological Books in Iraq

The National Security Agency in Iraq announced today, Friday, the foiling of an attempt to smuggle one of the most important valuable archaeological books. The agency stated in a press release that "an attempt to smuggle one of the important archaeological books worth about one million dollars was thwarted," noting that "members of the smuggling network were arrested." The statement added that "the operation was carried out in coordination between the security directorates of Basra and Baghdad."
