Taekwondo: Referee Yara Haddad Named Best at International Championship in South Korea

After the participation of three referees from Lebanon in officiating the matches of the "Dr. Eun Young Kim Cup," founded by the founder of the International Taekwondo Federation and the Kukkiwon and former Vice President of the International Olympic Committee, along with a large number of countries in the tournament and more than 60 international referees, including Olympic referees led by the experienced Korean international referee So Kyung Park, the Lebanese rising international referee Master Yara Haddad was awarded the Best Referee of the tournament in recognition of her remarkable performance during the four days alongside her colleagues Master Nasab Hassan and Master Kirina Shouli. Yara received the award from the technical delegate of the International Federation supervising the tournament. This refereeing achievement highlights the high level of Lebanese referees and the great efforts of the Referees Committee in the Lebanese Federation, chaired by Master Daniel Khorasanjian, which has yielded results and achieved the vision and plans of the Lebanese Federation headed by Dr. Habib Zareefa, who congratulated Khorasanjian and Haddad on this new achievement.
