Moody's Maintains Lebanon's Rating at (C) with a Stable Outlook

Moody's has maintained Lebanon's rating at (C) while changing the outlook to stable. Moody's clarified that the stable outlook for Lebanon reflects its expectations that the rating will remain at C in the foreseeable future. It warned that the continuation of the political vacuum increases the risks of a prolonged economic, financial, and social crisis. It also indicated that Lebanon's exposure to further escalation in the Israel-Hamas conflict would partially undermine recent gains in the tourism sector.
