In a Strange Scene... Amazonian Leader Blows on Heads (Video)

In a rather odd scene, the leader of the Yawanawa tribe from the indigenous people of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil appeared during a session at the World Economic Forum "Davos 2024." Botani Yawanawa, wearing her wide-brimmed hat and traditional clothing, performed strange rituals on stage, before chanting incomprehensible phrases, blowing into her hands, then approaching everyone on stage and holding their heads to "blow" above their foreheads, as a form of blessing. The woman attended the Davos Forum to warn world leaders about the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest and its impacts on climate change. It is worth noting that indigenous people in countries around the world make up 5% of the planet's population, and their leaders sometimes represent them at the Davos Forum to discuss issues, particularly environmental change.
