Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey noted today, Wednesday, that "the conflict in the Middle East has not harmed the British economy as feared so far." Bailey stated, "From an economic perspective, if we look at oil prices, which is a clear point to consider, it hasn't actually had the impact that I somewhat feared." He added, "However, it is clear that it remains a highly uncertain situation."
