Kuwait Calls for an Emergency Session on Gaza at the Human Rights Council

The majority of Kuwaiti National Assembly members (parliament) urged the government today, Monday, to request an emergency session of the United Nations Human Rights Council to discuss violations in the Gaza Strip, as Kuwait is a member of the council. According to a statement obtained by Reuters, 36 out of the 50 parliament members called on the government, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to ask the Human Rights Council to "form an international investigative committee regarding the crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist enemy."
