Rescue of 17 People in Beirut Due to Flooding

The Beirut Fire Brigade announced in a statement that "it worked to rescue citizens stranded due to the flooding of the Beirut River using rubber boats and rescue ropes, managing to save 17 people whose vehicles were submerged by the water." The statement noted that "operations to ensure the safety of citizens are ongoing," and reminded that the emergency number within the city of Beirut is 175.
