Al-Darb Governorate, located north of the Jazan region, possesses all the natural tourism components that have made it a major destination for visitors and outdoor enthusiasts. It features beautiful beaches, stunning mountains and valleys, lush oases, flowing waters, and forests spread along the valley banks. Wadi Bayd, situated east of the governorate and approximately 116 kilometers from Jazan, is one of the most important tourist sites and a popular destination for travelers. It is characterized by its dense forests and ancient trees, creating a picturesque and appealing landscape along both sides of the valley, where the water flows from the high Sarawat Mountains in the southwest of the Asir region. Wadi Bayd is among the most famous valleys in Al-Darb. In a tourist tour of Wadi Bayd, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) highlighted the enchanting natural beauty of the valley, including its diverse forests and trees.
