China and Kuwait Sign Agreements on Renewable Energy and Infrastructure

CCTV reported today that China and Kuwait have signed bilateral agreements for cooperation in areas such as renewable energy, infrastructure construction, and environmental governance. President Xi Jinping met in Hangzhou with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who is in China to attend the opening ceremony of the 19th Asian Games. During their meeting, President Xi expressed China's readiness to work with Kuwait to further enhance the development of bilateral relations. Over the past 52 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, particularly in the last five years since the formation of a strategic partnership, China-Kuwait relations have made significant progress, achieving fruitful cooperation in various sectors. Additionally, the two countries signed a plan for bilateral cooperation from 2024 to 2028.
