American billionaire Elon Musk has announced his plans to launch his own version of an AI chat robot, which will be called TruthGPT. According to the businessman, his new AI platform aims to compete with the controversial chat robot ChatGPT, with the distinction that it will provide all necessary information and be free from censorship. Musk stated in an interview with television host Tucker Carlson on Fox News, "I will launch something I call TruthGPT, or the most truth-seeking AI that aims to understand the nature of the universe." He pointed out that "current chatbots are developed by programmers with leftist tendencies, which teach lies to their users," warning that "if not managed properly, AI could catastrophically harm the existence of humanity as a whole." Musk's announcement of his plan to create his own Chatbot follows the launch of his AI company, X.AI, on April 15 of this year. The Financial Times reported, citing several sources, that Musk is assembling a team to launch a new AI startup that will be capable of competing with OpenAI's AI chatbot, ChatGPT-4.
