UNIFIL: We Urge People to Stay Away from the Blue Line

UNIFIL spokesman Andrea Tenenti indicated that "the Lebanese Armed Forces informed us this morning, Thursday, that residents in the area found the bodies of the two individuals who were injured yesterday near the Blue Line in the Wazzani area." Tenenti said, "Approaching the Blue Line is always a highly sensitive matter, but it becomes even more sensitive in the current situation. The line is not clearly defined in many places and it may be difficult to know its exact location on the ground." He added, "We strongly urge people to stay away to avoid mistakenly crossing, which could have tragic consequences."
