Member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah, warned Israel on Thursday that it would "pay the price" after airstrikes on southern Lebanon the previous day resulted in the deaths of ten civilians, half of whom were children. Fadlallah told Reuters in response to a question about Hezbollah's reaction to the highest number of civilian casualties in a single day in Lebanon since the outbreak of hostilities on the southern border: "The enemy will pay the price for these crimes." He affirmed that "the resistance will continue to exercise its legitimate right to defend its people and will not hesitate to do what is necessary to protect them."
