The General Directorate for Drug Control in Iraq announced today, Wednesday, the seizure of more than 21 kg of drugs in Maysan and Wasit. The statement from the directorate mentioned that "21.5 kg of drugs were seized, including 20 kg of opium in Wasit, as well as one and a half kilos of crystal meth in Maysan." The statement further added that "several suspects were arrested, including a foreign national."
