The Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, during the launch of the "Strategic Plan for Social Protection in Lebanon" from the Grand Serail, said: "In light of the developments we are experiencing, the most serious of which are the blatant violations of our country's sovereignty and aggression against its people and land in southern Lebanon, some find opportunities to spark futile debates that take the country into unnecessary mazes, particularly by falsely accusing us. In this regard, I reiterate that those who exclude themselves and absent their presence cannot hold responsible those who manage the affairs of the nation and its people. In the presence of the honorable ministers today, most of whom are here, I repeat the call for everyone to return to cooperate as we have done today in this strategy for the well-being of the citizen." He added: "Let the upcoming phase be one of cooperation away from absolute negativity, and let everyone return to the Cabinet table without tensions or campaigns. All topics should be open for calm scientific discussion, far from political campaigns and stances that do not benefit and are tiresome due to their repeated falsehoods."
